Privacy

This page describes what this website actually does, as built. It will be updated if that changes.

What this site does

growingresearch.org is a static website: a set of pre-built pages served as files. There is no application server, no user account system, no database, and no form that submits data to the laboratory.

Analytics
None. No analytics service, first- or third-party, is loaded.
Cookies
The site sets no cookies.
Tracking pixels
None.
Third-party scripts
None. All scripts and stylesheets are served from this domain. Nothing is loaded from an external content-delivery network.
Fonts
Self-hosted. Font files are bundled with the site at build time and served from this domain; your browser does not contact a font provider.
Embedded media
None at present. If the Observatory later embeds a video or broadcast player from another service, this page will say so and name the service.
Browser storage
The site does not use local storage or session storage.
Contact
Email only. Contact links open your own mail client addressed to a laboratory mailbox; nothing is submitted through the website. Email you send is handled like any other correspondence and is retained as long as needed to respond and keep records.

Hosting

The site is served by a content-delivery and hosting provider (Cloudflare). Like any web host, the provider processes the technical information a browser sends when requesting a page — such as IP address, requested URL, user agent, and timing — to deliver the page and to protect the service, and may retain standard request logs under its own terms. The laboratory does not add tracking on top of this and does not currently use the provider's analytics products.

Children

The site is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone through the website itself.

Changes

If the site's behavior changes — for example if analytics, a contact form, or embedded media are added — this page will be revised to describe the new behavior before or when the change goes live.
